B.Sc. (Medical)
Botany, Zoology and Chemistry with real fieldwork — and honest support for NEET repeaters.
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with twelve laboratory hours a week — no shortcuts.
The defining feature of this programme is laboratory time. Students spend roughly twelve hours a week in the Physics and Chemistry laboratories, in batches of thirty with a dedicated technician. Equipment is on a three-year replacement cycle audited by the Purchase Committee, which is the reason our practical results consistently sit above the university average.
From the third year, students preparing for IIT-JAM, CSIR-NET or state technical services are mentored separately by Prof. Tyagi and Dr. Rani outside teaching hours. That mentoring is voluntary, free, and has produced eleven JAM qualifiers in the last four years.
Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
Admission is granted strictly on the merit of the qualifying examination, following the reservation policy of the Government of Haryana. There is no capitation or donation charge of any kind.
Physics and Chemistry practicals in batches of thirty, each with a dedicated laboratory technician.
A three-year replacement cycle for instruments, audited annually. Practicals are conducted, not signed off.
Free evening mentoring from year three for students targeting IIT-JAM, CSIR-NET or M.Sc. entrances.
A supervised minor project in the final year, presented before the department at the annual science seminar.
The structure below follows the Kurukshetra University syllabus under the NEP 2020 framework. Papers are revised by the university periodically — the department publishes the current detailed syllabus at the start of each session.
Where our graduates from this programme actually go — based on alumni records, not projections.
